The Start of a New Beginning

No matter how much I want 2009 to stay, 2010 has to come and kick it out, huh... *sigh* Anyways most of you might know but today will be the 1st day of school for me as school re-opens at the 4th of January. Well, I've been thinking a lot about my 1st day of school and it ain't pleasant because with all the rumors going around, my life in Upper 6 will pretty much suck.

Well, I'm happy to say that, it doesn't SUCK THAT MUCH ANYMORE! Since this post is about school, no cellphones allowed, therefore, no photos... Well, to start of, for year 2010, I'll have my own GENUINE class for the whole year. Last year, due to some stupid management in the upper class, my class, 6RB was positioned at the Chemistry Lab, which has stands for chemicals directly in front of every seat, and stools which will hurt our backs. it also consists of 4 whiteboards which will take time to rub off. This year, we have our own class, 6AB. Not only it has good ventilation with large windows and holes which allow air to move freely, it comes with a portable fan which is quite close to my seat.

Not to mention we now have our own tables and chairs which are similar to other classes. Last year, we had VERY long tables combined and stools as chairs. Not only it will hurt our back, sometimes we will cramp up which causes low space... And on certain areas of the table are installed with water pipes which causes even less space... Normal chairs are also not allowed in the lab...

The rumor last year was that my class would have 2 Physics teacher, similar to our Lower 6 period. However, Pn. Rosmawati will be transferring to Butterworth due to her family being relocated there, so a new teacher will replace her. She told us who he/she is, and IT WAS GOD DAMN TERRIBLE! To those who know who, you will know what I mean... But shockingly, there will be only one teacher for Physics this year, the Almighty Ms. Choong Lai Yong, one of the best Physics teacher I even stumbled upon in Penang. The teachers for other subjects remain the same, but for Maths, I will now have 2 teachers, one experienced, one trainee, due to lack of Form 6 teachers.

Still, the news is true, From Monday to Wednesday, school will dismiss at 4.00pm for the Form 6 students... Well, I went home at 2.40 today though *winks*... The 4.00pm dismissal has not been implemented... YET! Announcements will be made to confirm the schedule. Also, I received my timetable today, I gotta say, its better than last year, but its gonna be quite tiring... The good thing is the important subjects will now be in double period, therefore teachers will go on smoothly not being disturbed, and the morning assemblies will not take up their time when it is extended. The bad thing is, on Thursday, I have BOTH Chemistry and Physics practical... Well I have recess in between them, but I will still be up to my ears on reports that day...

Thats pretty much all I have to say for now, as it has been only one day of schooling. My deepest condolences to Gahjen for missing the 1st day of school due to serious health problem... Will visit you tomorrow, or Thursday.

Signed off,
Teng Aun.
